Nkuli Bogopa, Founder
Nkuli Bogopa founded Rose Coloured Lens NPC to advance visual impairment awareness and visual inclusion in South Africa. She is a Pr.Arch Tech with 25 years in the built environment, a former president of SAIBPP, and serves on the JSE ESG Committee. She is a Non-Executive Director and Finance Committee Chair at W-SETA, chairs the BRICS Retail & Textiles Export Promotion Working Group, and serves on the UCT FEBE Advisory Board.
Her lived experience of visual impairment, combined with this professional network, is the reputational foundation from which all three rose pillars draw credibility. Visual impairment is not deficit: it is a distinct form of insight.

A South Africa where visual health is prioritised, low vision is understood and supported, visual inclusion is embedded in corporate and community practice, and women in the built environment have a structured path to skills and ownership.

The VIP (Visually Impaired Professionals) Speaker Bureau is a curated roster of professionals with visual impairment, available for keynote speaking, panel representation and corporate DEI programmes, managed by Rose Coloured Lens. Nkuli Bogopa is the anchor keynote: combining lived experience with evidence-based insight for leadership teams, HR, and inclusion committees.
